DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Location: Birkenhead Salary: £55-60k.
In addition, this post is eligible for performance related pay – currently up to 5% of salary and a car allowance of 5% of salary. Wirral Methodist Housing Association has been providing homes in Wirral since 1964 and is a well respected local stakeholder. We require a motivational leader to shape our approach to Asset Management, to lead a repairs, improvement and neighbourhood service, and ensure our tenants receive the best possible service and great homes to live in. You will have a background in asset management, housing service delivery or customer service delivery, but with significant skills in ICT, contract management and operating at a senior level. You will report to the Chief Executive, be part of the Executive Team and update regularly to our enthusiastic and inspirational Board. Walkabout Feedback
Neighbourhood Walkabouts took place in May and June 21 A successful number of walkabouts too place in May and June 2021. We want you to take pride in your area and to work with your Housing Officer and other residents within the community, to make the area a safe and a well maintained place to live. The walkabout help us together to:
- target areas of concerns
- inform you of our role and how we work with partner agencies to resolve issues of concern and achieve mutual objectives
- promote ways for you to become involved with the Association including influencing decision making
- identify improvement for the external environment including opportunities to reduce anti-social behaviour (ASB)
- provide active engagement for you
- help develop plans for your area
- work in partnership with other services in the area.

100 members using My Home
We have now reached 100 tenants who have registered for the My Home portal. We rang our 100 tenant who signed up for our My Home portal. They were awarded a £25 gift voucher. Michelle from Woodchurch said: “Thank you for the phone call this morning, I wasn’t expecting that! She said “I think My Home portal is brilliant! It gives you all the information you need without having to call the office. I had a repair so I used My Home portal to report the repair it was so easy to do! And my repair was fixed the next day! You can also keep an eye on your rent payments! I would recommend it to everyone”
