Anti-Social Behaviour

Wirral Methodist Housing Association will not tolerate anti-social behaviour (ASB), people or groups who cause a nuisance or annoyance; not only on our own housing schemes but also in the wider communities in which we operate. We are fully aware of the stress and discomfort that the unacceptable behaviour of a few can cause to the majority of people who just want to live peacefully in their homes.

If you are Experiencing Nuisance or Anti-Social Behaviour

Contact us as soon as possible via [email protected] or by calling 0151 647 5471. If the incidents are serious contact your local police station immediately.

As each incident or problem is different, we first assess the problem and then agree a suitable action plan to deal with it. Recent legislation has given housing associations more powers to tackle anti-social behaviour.

Proactive Prevention

This issue is not just about punishing those that cause a nuisance. WMHA is also proactive in trying to prevent anti-social behaviour on its housing schemes. Working in partnership with local authorities, police and other agencies has had an unprecedented effect on some of our neighbourhoods.

If you are the victim of nuisance or anti-social behaviour please don’t suffer in silence. We need to know so that we can help.

For more information on how WMHA deals with nuisance and anti-social behaviour and having us support you please ask for our Neighbour Nuisance Policy.
