Wirral Methodsist Housing Association owns a number of properties in the Ellesmere Port area. We advertise our properties through the Cheshire West and Chester Council choice based lettings system called `West Cheshire Homes’.

What is Choice Based Lettings?

Choice based lettings is a way of allocating social housing by advertising avaliable properties on a weekly basis, allowing people to express their interest in any number of properties that suit their needs.

How Do I Apply?

Where Will the Available Properties be Advertised?

Available properties are advertised on a weekly basis from 12, noon on a Thursday until midnight on the following Tuesday.

  • Online on the West Cheshire Homes website

How do I Express Interest in an Available Property?

The term `expression of interest` means that you wish to be considered for a property. Properties are offered to interested applicants who are in the highest priority band in line with the Allocations Policy.

You can express your interest in a property:

  • Online on the West Cheshire Homes website
  • North West Cheshire Homes APP – The link to download the APP to your Android or iPhone can be found on the website
  • Text bidding to 07781 472 726 – Instructions on how to do this can be found on the website.
