“…And the River Flows on”
In April 2015, WMHA secured funding from the Arts Council to run a series of free community art activities to engage with lots of different members of our community in the Wirral. During the summer holidays a week of Pop up art in different neighbourhoods took place around Wirral, Followed by four weeks of children`s art workshops in the Williamson Art Gallery. And next exciting phase will be the creation of a third panel based upon dockers and their lives with clients and staff at The Spider Project in Hamilton Street over the next 3 months. The first two panels that were created during the workshops will be on public display in the Williamson Art Gallery during October 2015.

Child Sexual Exploitation
Wirral Methodist Housing Association have launched "Listen to my Story" a campaign in partnership with Merseyside Police to tackle the sensitive subject of child sexual exploitation (CSE). CSE is a form of child abuse and is against the law. It can have devastating effects on the lives of victims and their families. Exciting opportunities for 16-25 year olds not in education, employment or training
The Step-Up Project run by Birkenhead YMCA is for young people aged 16 - 25 not in employment, education or training. It lasts for twelve weeks with 2 sessions per week on a Tuesday or a Friday. The first session will take place on Friday 27th February at 11am at the YMCA. It is free and any N.E.E.T. young people of the correct age range are eligible.
