Residents in Simpson Street and Parkfield Avenue were invited to come along to a planting day to help brighten up the streets with colourful plants in hanging baskets.
A hanging basket bracket was attached to the front of each house and on the planting day residents were invited to plant up a basket for the outside of their home.
Some residents chose red and white to represent the England flag- ready for the world cup. Whilst others wanted to have the most colourful basket on display.
The fantastic plants were supplied by Bromborough Pool Garden Centre (a project run by Wirral Autistic Society).
