This year`s gardening competition proved so popular, that we decided to create three different prize categories.
Winners of the Best Individual Garden were Mr & Mrs Hunt of Sisters Way.
Winner of Best Communal Garden was Mrs Reed of Slatey Road.
And Winner of Best Patio and Container Garden were Mr & Mrs Barlow of Princes Road.
All the winners received £40 prize money and a certificate.
One of the Judges, Anne Steel, Head of Housing said “We were very impressed by the number of high quality entries, the time and dedication many entrants spend in their gardens is a credit to them. Deciding on a winner was very difficult for some categories; however all who took part should be very proud of their achievements”.
