On the 21st March 2023 we said goodbye to Mike Thorne who is stepping down from the Wirral Methodist Board after 7 years of service. Mike has played an important and integral role to the board during his time and has seen the organisation change and grow rapidly. With his legal expertise, Mike has always been on hand to offer his insight and advice and also took on an important role as part of the Tenants and Communications sub-committee and Development committee. Speaking of his time on the board Mike said “I have seen the role of the board change a lot in my time and over the years i’ve seen new members join and bring their fresh perspective. The board have a vital role in the management of the organisation and i’m pleased with all that I have been able to contribute.”
Chair of the Board Bryan McPaul thanked Mike for his hard work and important contribution and wished him all the best for the future.
