Our opening day of our Pop-up art shop in The Grange Shopping Centre, Birkenhead saw over thirty visitors to the temporary art venue. Visitors were able to view a variety of artwork from our community summer art project as well as artwork and photography by other partnership organisations involved in our `…And the river flows on` project.
Visitors to the shop were encouraged to join in an organised art session to complete the final panel of the project based upon the work of Birkenhead YMCA during the First World War.
The shop will be open for two weeks with further art sessions taking place and local history talks.
All the sessions are free..call into the shop to collect a timetable.
