Wirral Methodsist Housing Association owns a number of properties in the Ellesmere Port area. We advertise our properties through the Cheshire West and Chester Council choice based lettings system called `Trust HomeChoice`.

What is choice based lettings?

Choice based lettings is a way of allocating social housing by advertising avaliable properties on a weekly basis, allowing people to express their interest in any number of properties that suit their needs.

How do I Apply?

You can apply to join online at the Trust HomeChoice website or by calling into any of our local offices in Ellesmere Port, Westminster or Neston and collecting an application form.

You can also request an application form over the phone by calling the rehousing department on 0300 123 9035.

Where will the avaliable properties be advertised?

Avaliable properties are advertised on a weekly basis from 12, noon on a Thursday until 12, noon the following Wednesday.

Properties will be advertised:

  • Online on the Trust HomeChoice website
  • In the Ellesmere Port Standard
  • In the Ellesmere Port Council local offices at Civil way, Ellesmere Port, Church Parade, Westminster and Neston Town Hall, Neston.

How do I express interest in an avaliable property?

The term `expression of interest` means that you wish to be considered for a property. Properties are offered to interested applicants who are in the highest priority band in line with the Common Allocations Policy.

You can express your interest in a property:

  • Online on the Trust HomeChoice website
  • By calling the rehousing department on 0300 123 9035
  • In the Ellesmere Port housing offices at Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, Church Parade, Westminster and Neston Town Hall, Neston.
